Ramble On

Its finally fall, not just by the date on the calendar but by the weather outside. Hooray! I am in a good mood and its not just the weather, but the fact that Friday was our third wedding anniversary. I mean three years doesn't seem to do it justice. Sean and I have been around one another for quite a while, first as friends, then dating, then living together all on top of being married....so it feels like a lot longer. Of course I mean that in the best way possible. Its like with Lucy, its hard to imagine her not being here, life without Sean seems unfathomable. While we didn't have the funds to go crazy we were able to get out to dinner and a movie. It was off to Roosters (yum) and then we saw Ricky Gervais in Ghost town (hilarious.) Kelly and Katie again came to our aide and watched LV. Honestly, I am so thankful that we have the luxury of going out like that. Lucy is so great to take along, she is better behaved than most kids in a restaurant, but its nice to have time just the two of us. Sean still makes me laugh constantly, still makes me weak in the knees with just a kiss, and still is my best friend. Mushy I know, but all true.
Lucy is already a kid after my own heart, but now it seems she may be taking after me too. She is making a last big push before she gets her report card, so to speak. Wednesday we go to see her new pediatrician for her yearly check up and booster, and in the last few days she has poped out two more teeth, gone crazy in the walker that her adoring Grandma got her, and is ramping up on her motor and verbal skills. I think she was already doing great and that the doc was going to say good job, but Lucy wants that extra bit to impress and well by golly she's done it. Now I know I had a poll up about what costume Lucy should wear for Halloween, but we caved and bought something not even on the list. Lucy is going to be a pink poodle. With how much she loves Clarke, and the bitchin' deal we got on the costume, plus it is warm and will just slide over a normal outfit, how could we resist?! We already put it on her, and dear lord its the cutest thing you've ever seen. Seriously we are talking heart melting material here.
Since I have to work in the morning, I think I will continue to enjoy the genius feature on itunes and cross stitch, the key here is to be in bed before midnight. Vegas odds are against me, but I'm up for a challange.
