UPdate

The last few days went by too fast, although I seem to say that a lot these days. Why is it that as you get older time moves quicker? I think it might have best been summed up by "Days go passing into years, years go passing day by day." The wisdom of the muppets knows no bounds. I digress.
Friday Sean got news that left me truely puzzled. The most recent victem of the economy, his whole project ended leading to everyone being let go. Which blows, its true. However, we have already started the process of possibly getting a pail grant. Since Sean was only working to cover school, with the grant we wouldn't be that bad off. The fed already sent info back saying we qualify so now we just have to wait for the school to agree. So for the next few days I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.

Saturday was Valentine's Day, of course, and despite the storm we had a wonderful day. Janae came down all the way from Soda and let us be her first paying "clients." She had a photo session with Lucy, and I can not wait to see the results!! At such a young age Janae shows such talent. You can't help but be a little envious. Her eye is great and over the past little while she seems to really caputre personality of the subjects. We stayed up at the house since the weather wasn't very cooperative, but as the day progressed adn it warmed up we headed out. Much to our disappointment our two other venues, the old post office and the union station were both closing as we arrived. Five is apparently past business hours even on a Saturday. We did manage to squeeze in a few shots with one of the trains at Union Station, and holy cow those might be adorable. Who knows.....to reiterate....I CAN'T Wait to get a look! I have seen one photo, that's up on facebook, and it is tremendous. Some of the best money we could have spent! After our day of camera filled excitement we headed out for a family dinner. It was yummy and nice to have it be just the three of us.

Sunday brought a flurry of cleaning. I don't know what got into me. It might be that at work we've had to move to only one nurses station due to construction, and thus really elimated clutter, but I was cleaning inspired. Sean and I both have a problem with shoes. He loves them and has to many, and I can't let them go and also have to many. Regarless it was a bit ridiculous with our shoes spilling out onto the floor at times. So we thined them out. Filling two 30 Gallon garbage bags. I also completely reorganized our desk, and then my Monkish behavior spilled into Lucy's room. I pulled out all of her baby toys to pass onto Champ, and rearranged things a bit. We are coming up on having to redo her room, and I've already picked out some items at IKEA to make it happen. Ugh, two is coming so fast. I've still got a little time but I've got a feeling that this spring and summer will fly by.

Yesturday's storm left us stuck in a snowbank, again, trying to get home. With Sean's snow removal and help from a Utah power truck's wench we made our way back out. It was so frustrating because we made it up the hill, which one would imagine is the hard part, but because the condo's snow removal crew are, well lets just leave it at lacking, we couldn't quite make it home. Fortionately Brett and Katie don't mind having a sleep over every now and then, and we crashed at their place. I'm just hoping tonight we can get home ok. I also want to hang our new prints. Last year I bought Sean two Phil Noto prints for Father's Day. I promised him, back when we first started dating, that I would evenutally get him a Noto to hang on the wall. Unbeknownst to me they are crazy expensive, and hard to find. Well last year I found a set of two Wonder Woman prints on Ebay. A short auction later and my promise to him was fufilled. Kelly did such a fantastic job on the frame job. They are awesome!
