More fun to be had...

2010 is already looking way up, although even just typing that seems risky. I don't want to jinx anything! But the Saints are in the Superbowl, we got great news about Sean's EMT I class, and well there is just hope to go around it seems. Last weekend turned out to be beyond fabulous.
Knitting club went off without a hitch and I think we'll be growing with our next meeting. Its just fun that people are interested in learning. Having a hobby that can be social and productive is awesome. Then Luke was able to get us tickets to Hesher for Sundance 2010. It was great! Gordon-Leavitt can almost do no wrong. Rain Wilson was wonderful; the child in it was on his game. Even Natalie Portman wasn't awful. (I have a tendency to despise her since she hit puberty and miraculously lost all of her acting ability. Having big eyes and a 12 year old boy's body just isn't enough for me.) Still even Miss Portman was decent. Granted this is a dramady, with loads of colorful language. So it isn't for everyone, including the 3 gals who sat in front of me, they walked out. Although one gal was desperate not to go, I think that she was holey embarrassed by her bumpkin friends who were offended by mere words. I was about to offer her a ride home when she caved and hissed the word "fine," standing up to leave. Then of course there was the NFC and AFC championship games for the NFL. Although the Jets lost, which was both a bummer and awesome. I was dreading a possible massive fight if both NY and NO made it to the Superbowl. Instead my Saints are FINALLY on their way. WoooHOOO!!!!! Also Lucy got another haircut this week. Her hair is in a short bob cut and adorable!!! Ugh yet another girl looking cute with short hair. But I must resist temptation and leave mine long. I know I would be lost without having a ponytail as an option. Anyway all our adventures are on flickr. Check them out when you have the chance.
Lucy continues her reign of best/cutest/funest kid ever. This video is of her pretend calling Luke.
